About Hamilton Center

Hamilton Center, Inc. is a regional, not-for-profit behavioral health system serving central and west central Indiana. For more than 40 years, Hamilton Center, Inc. (HCI) has been building hope and changing lives. Dedicated staff provide quality behavioral healthcare, wellness and human development services to the community. It takes a team effort of staff, volunteers and community partnerships to make it all work.

The Hamilton Center Foundation was created to help further that mission and ease the financial burden of HCI. You can help us, providing funds to support proactive intervention and treatment to even the most vulnerable. With the foundation, we can help people with mental health problems find recovery and improved quality of life.

Hamilton Center exists to provide quality behavioral healthcare, wellness and human development services to our community.

Our vision is to advance excellence in behavioral health services through compassion, customer responsiveness, innovation and flexibility.

We believe in the worth of all people and believe that they should be treated with dignity, respect, and compassion – people with mental illnesses are valued and deserve respect and access to services.

We aspire to participate in improving the quality of life of all people and the communities  in which we live.

We believe in serving people in their home communities – we believe in the least restrictive care that allows people to live as independently as possible.

We believe people with mental health problems can recover and/or improve their quality of life.

We believe in working with and supporting stakeholders in the community. We believe in working collaboratively with others to help consumers while utilizing a holistic team concept, and providing wraparound services.

We value our employees as people and what they do for the organization.

We strive to find the resources to serve people regardless of payer source.
